Women’s Golf has Six Named WGCA All-American Scholars

FRISCO, Texas – The University of Delaware women's golf program had six student-athletes named to the 2025-26 Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholar Team, as announced by the WGCA on Monday. The six Fightin' Blue Hens were among 1,551 women's collegiate golfers recognized with the prestigious honor.
Marissa Malosh earned her third All-American Scholar nod, while Mary Grace Dunigan, Hyunji Kim, and Anushka Sawant all received recognition for the second-consecutive year. Kate Roberts and Rhianna Gooneratne were both selected for the first time. The six All-Americans is the most in program history, besting the five Blue Hens who were recognized last year.
To be named to the All-American Scholar Team, a student-athlete must have an overall cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher and must have played in at least 50-percent of the team's regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year.
The Blue Hens enjoyed a successful 2025-26 season, the program's first as a member of Conference USA, with a second-place finish at the CUSA Championship. Delaware won two team tournament titles, defending its title at the Lady Blue Hen Invitational and winning The Nashville Invitational, while recording three team runner-up and seven total top-five finishes. Both Dunigan and Gooneratne were selected to the All-CUSA Third Team following the season.
