Delaware Athletics Launches Team 302, A Philanthropic Community

NEWARK, Del. – Delaware Athletics has launched Team 302, a philanthropic community for donors who invest at the highest level in UD programs, the department announced Wednesday.
Team 302 serves as the premier philanthropic community for Delaware Athletics. Composed of dedicated and generous supporters, including Blue Hens alumni, family, friends, and local businesses, this donor group will play a vital role in the success of Blue Hens student-athletes and coaches through philanthropic endeavors.
"We are at a pivotal moment for Delaware Athletics," Senior Associate AD, Development Casey Macdonald said. "The visibility of our programs has never been greater. Philanthropic support of Delaware Athletics is crucial to our success as a department, as we continue to compete in the FBS and more competitive conferences. We hope that Team 302 provides a community for our top supporters to get an inside look at all the great things we are doing and encourages others to step up and join in support of our programs."
Membership into Team 302 begins at $10,000 in annual support to any area of Delaware Athletics. Team 302 members are invited to exclusive VIP events and quarterly meetings with Athletics leaders and coaches, and are privy to advanced communications related to Delaware Athletics. Team 302 will also receive exclusive branded merchandise and other exclusive stewardship opportunities. Gifts to Delaware Athletics are tax-deductible.
Contributions to Delaware Athletics can be directed towards program-specific operational support or to one of our excellence funds, which provide above-and-beyond support of certain programs that aid in our recruitment and retention of top talent to join and remain in the 302.
