NEWARK, Del. – Forward Maggie Groh from the University of Delaware women's soccer program was named the Conference USA Offensive Player of the Week, the league announced on Tuesday.
For the second straight season, Groh earned CUSA player of the week honors. She became the first Fightin' Blue Hen in program history to earn the honor from the conference back on August 19, 2025.
Last week, Groh led the Fightin' Blue Hens offense, scoring three goals over the span of two games, en route to a 1-0-1 record.
Her mutli-goal game against VCU helped Delaware earn a 3-1 victory on Thursday. It was her second multi-goal game of her career. Groh's goal in the 78th minute helped UD earn a 2-2 draw against Navy on Sunday.
The senior from Dallastown, Pennsylvania has gotten off to a fast start over the past two seasons. In 2025, she scored three goals over the first two games and in 2026, Groh scored four goals over the first three games.
UD starts the 2026 season with a 2-0-1, the second year in a row it's been unbeaten over the first three games.
