Riley, Olaogun-Dickson Named to CUSA Preseason Team; Women's Soccer Picked to Finish Third

DALLAS - Junior midfielder Gabby Riley and sophomore forward Adiat Olaogun-Dickson were named to the Conference USA Preseason Team, while the University of Delaware women's soccer program was picked to finish third in the preseason poll, the league announced Thursday.
Riley had a major impact for the Fightin' Blue Hens squad in 2025. The Middletown, Delaware native set career highs in goals (3), assists (6) and points (12). She led the team in assists and was one of five players with double digit points. Riley appeared and started in all 18 of the Blue Hens contests, while logging 1,566 minutes, the most among field players. The midfielder scored her first-career goal against Cornell (Sep. 4). She had multiple assists against UTEP (Sept. 28), including the assist on the game-winning goal.
Olaogun-Dickson was a key member of the UD offense in 2025. The Sicklerville, New Jersey native appeared in all 18 games, making 15 starts, and logged 1,111 minutes of playing time. She was tied for the team lead in goals (5) and tied for third in points (12). Her five goals were tied for 10th most by a freshman in program history. She opened her collegiate career with a goal against Mount St. Mary's (Aug. 15) The forward also scored the game-winning goal against Navy (Aug. 24), was credited with the assist on the game-winning goal against William & Mary (Sept. 12), and scored the game-tying goal against Missouri State (Oct. 5)
The women's soccer program was picked to finish third in the conference and received one first place vote. It is the highest preseason ranking under head coach Kelly Lawrence.
The Blue Hens open the 2026 season against George Washington on Saturday, August 15 at 7 p.m. It will be the first of five-straight home games to open the season. Fans can watch all home broadcasts on ESPN+.
