Women's Soccer Ranked Eighth In South Region Poll

NEWARK, Del. – For the fourth week in a row, the University of Delaware women's soccer program is ranked in the United Soccer Coaches Association regional poll, the league announced on Tuesday.
The Fightin' Blue Hens entered this week's poll ranked eighth.
UP NEXT
UD travels to Villanova, Pennsylvania for a matchup against Villanova on Thursday, September 17. Delaware returns to Grant Stadium and welcomes Columbia on Sunday, September 20 at 12 p.m. The game can be watched on ESPN+.

The Fightin' Blue Hens entered this week's poll ranked eighth.
Delaware enters the week with a 4-1-3 overall record. After UD had its first setback of the season dropped to Georgetown last Thursday, it responded with a 3-1 win at Drexel on Sunday.
In the win over the Dragons, the Blue Hens scored all three goals in the first half. Ava Ticconi got the game started with her first-collegiate goal in the seventh minute. Olivia Bley had her first multi-goal game of her collegiate career with goals in the 23rd and 28th minute.
