Women's Swimming & Diving's Elk Wins ASUN Women's Diver of the Week After First-Collegiate Meet

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - University of Delaware women's swimming & diving's Gabriella Elk has been named the ASUN Conference Women's Diver of the Week after her first-collegiate meet, the conference announced Tuesday.

In the 1-meter dive, Elk scored a 261.15, finishing in first place. She finished second in the 3-meter dive scoring a 244.65.

She had the highest score in the conference in the 1-meter dive, and in the 3-meter dive she placed only behind another Delaware diver, out-diving all Towson opponents.

Elk is the first women's diver to win a 1-meter diving event in her first-career meet since Julia Servas in 2020-21 against Villanova.

The Blue Hens' next meet is a tri-meet at West Virginia against the Mountaineers and another Big 12 opponent, the Cincinnati Bearcats on October 23-24 in Morgantown, W.Va.
