Rowing Announces 2026 Fall Schedule

NEWARK, Del. – The University of Delaware rowing program has released its fall 2026 race schedule, head coach Asiya Mahmud announced Tuesday. The Fightin' Blue Hens will compete in four regattas in the fall to prepare for their championship season in the Mid-Atlantic Conference (MAC) in the spring.
Mahmud enters her fourth season at the helm of Delaware's rowing program after leading the Hens to a second place finish in their first season in the MAC last spring.
"There is a distinct energy and hunger for what lies ahead," said Mahmud. "After our second place team finish at the 2026 MAC Championship, our athletes returned to campus this fall not to rest on that success, but to chase the standard required to take the top spot. Every stroke this fall is an intentional step toward our ultimate goal."
UD will open up competition at Bucknell on Saturday, October 3.
On Saturday, October 24, Delaware will head up I-95 to race in the Head of the Schuylkill Regatta in Philadelphia.
The Hens then will compete in the Princeton Three-Mile Chase on Sunday, November 1.
To round out the fall schedule, Delaware will compete against Villanova on Sunday, November 8.
