Moore Tabbed Conference USA Freshman of the Week

DALLAS – University of Delaware football rookie S Kevin Moore has been named the Conference USA Freshman of the Week for his performance against Merrimack, the league announced Monday. He is the first-ever Fightin' Blue Hen to earn this honor.
In his career debut, the true freshman tallied five tackles, 1.0 TFLs, a pass break up, and a critical forced fumble with 22 seconds remaining in the first half to lead directly to a touchdown on the next play.
Moore and the Hens return to action on Saturday with a bout in Nashville against Vanderbilt. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:15 p.m. ET on the SEC Network.
