PERSONAL
Born Kayla Waldron (Kay-luh Wall-druhn) on February 5...Daughter of Simone and Denzil Waldron...Has an older sister, Melanie, and an older brother, Justin...Fun fact: Her favorite professional soccer teams are Manchester City and the U.S. women’s national team...She enjoys drawing and painting in her spare time...Her family is from Trinidad and Tobago...After winning the school-wide Spelling Bee, she competed in a regional Spelling Bee in 2017.
WHY DELAWARE?
I chose the University of Delaware because I knew from previous visits that I loved the campus, as well as the spirit of the students. I knew I wanted to be on this specific team because I really enjoyed the atmosphere surrounding the girls on the soccer team and the coaching staff after my first ID camp.
