COACH VAN DE KERKHOF SAYS
“We are thrilled to be able to welcome Kiki to Newark. As a transfer from Syracuse, she has experience of NCAA field hockey, and we are excited to add a player of her caliber, hockey qualities and knowledge to our team. She can generate attacks, is fast and will score goals. Her creativity with stick and ball and her passing range will help create opportunities for her teammates. She has already displayed a passion for this team and I have no doubt she will be a great addition to the players group.”
WHY DELAWARE?
"It was really important for me to feel the connection with my coaching staff and the girls on the team. When I got to know everyone over calls and meetings everything just clicked. The coaching staff is incredibly supportive and they really care about every single one of their players. The coaches and the girls are all very passionate about the sport and we all get to share our passion and fun with each other. I am also trying to switch my major to a business major and the business school at Delaware is remarkable. Academics are very important to me as well."
