UD D2 Men's Ice Hockey Wins MACH League Championships
The UD D2 Men;s ICe Hockey team travelled to Ice World in Abingdon, MD to compete in the Mid Atlantic Collegiate Hockey Playoffs (MACH) on Friday, February 13 - Sunday, Febraury 15. UDaily Story
The team faced Virginia Tech University in the first round and came out of OT with a 4-3 win. They then went on to defeat Liberty University with another close one with a score of 4-3. The team faced Rowan University in the final game and won handily with a score of 6-2 to be named the 2015 MACH champions. This is the first time the team qualified for and won the MACH championship game.
