Seat Selection FAQs
Will I be able to select my same seats from last season?
Only East Side and General Admission season ticket members will have the opportunity to renew their season ticket locations from the 2018 season. These fans will have the option to place a deposit to renew their seats or place a deposit to relocate or upgrade seats for 2019.
With the renovation of the West Side, we are unable to guarantee fans the exact seat locations for the 2019 season. All ticket holders must place a deposit in the level they wish to purchase, and they will be given a time to make their selection in May.
How are seat selection appointment times determined?
The seat selection process is intended to show appreciation for those who helped make the Whitney Athletic Center and Delaware Stadium Renovation possible and reward the loyalty of season ticket members. Donors that made a commitment of $10,000 or more to the Build Our Home Campaign will be the first to select their seats in order of the amount they donated. Next, season ticket members will select seats within their selected deposit level based on their total number of years of purchase, which will be determined by individual account history. See your personalized deposit form for the account history we have on record for you. Examples of seat selections scenarios can be found online at www.bluehens.com/FBFAQS.
What happens if I cannot make my seat selection date and time?
If you are unavailable during your assigned seat selection window, you have two options:
I have been sitting with my friends for years, how do I ensure we stay together?
For fans wishing to sit with a group of friends or family, requests need to be made on the deposit form. Each season ticket member should include the name and account number of all of those in the group. Your seat selection time will be determined based on the season ticket member in the group with the lowest number of total years of purchase.
If I do not like what is available in the deposit level I purchased, can I select another location during my selection time?
Fans are able to select available seats based on the deposit they placed or within the higher priced deposit levels. If you do not like the options available to you, please call the Delaware Ticket Office for a new selection time in the next deposit window.
What are the new Club Seats?
Outdoor club seats will be wider individual seats and offer more legroom than any other seating option in Delaware Stadium. These seats will have a padded chair back, armrest and a cup holder. Your ticket will provide you access to an exclusive indoor club hospitality area with additional amenities including upgraded restrooms, casual seating, TV monitors and the ability to purchase premium food and beverages in 2020.
How will construction affect the gameday experience in 2019?
We have taken measures to ensure fans will have the same thrilling gameday experience they are accustomed to. New entrances to the stadium on the west side will be located in the SW and NW corners. The west concourse will be closed and under construction in 2019. Fans will have access to portable restrooms and concessions located in the SW and NW corners. Additionally, construction will extend into surrounding parking lots, pushing permit holders in the Gold and Blue lots toward South College Ave. See below for additional details around the impact on parking lots.

How do the stadium renovations impact ticket pricing?
In 2019, you will notice price increases throughout the stadium due to the addition of a 7th home game. For all non-premium seats, you will notice that the prices go back down in 2020 with a 6 game home schedule. Sections C, D, E with the new chair backs will see an additional increase in their price due to the upgraded seating. With the club space being unavailable until the 2020 season, the 2019 club seat costs will be discounted 25% off the 2020 price.
How do the stadium renovations impact season parking lots?
Construction will extend into surrounding parking lots forcing Delaware Athletics to make some adjustments to the following lots: Victory VIP, Gold Road, Gold Champion and Blue Road. Season ticket members that parked in Gold Road or Blue Road in 2018 will be relocated to a comparable location within their respective VIP lot. Victory VIP and Gold Champion should place a deposit for their desired new lot and will be assigned during the seat selection process.
Can I move to the East side during construction, then move back to my seats on the West side when all amenities are complete?
That is certainly an option, however, there is no guarantee that the seats that are available this season will be open when construction is complete. As fans that select to be on the West side this season will have the opportunity to renew their seats in 2020. During the upgrade process, we will be able to give you options to move if you desire, but no changes will be made without your authorization.
I have had the same box seat for years, what does this mean for me?
