ADA Information
- Accessible Seating
- Handicap accessible seating is located in the south stands in the last row of Sections 5-10. You may call the Delaware Ticket Office at (302) 831-2257 to request accessible seating in advance. Availability is limited and is handled on a first-come, first-served basis. Â

- Accessible General Parking
- Gate B- entrance off Route 896. Fans that present a handicap hangtag will be directed to our ADA parking in front of the Bob Carpenter Center. You may call the Delaware Ticket Office at (302) 831-2257 to request a handicap parking pass in advance or show your placard to parking attendant game day.
The 50/50 raffle, supporting Delaware Athletics, will have ticket sellers roaming the arena concourse. There will be a video kiosk on the west concourse with an updating prize value. Tickets will be 5 for $5, 20 for $10, and 60 for $20 – CASH ONLY. Must be at least 18 years of age to play. The winning raffle number will be announce in the 3rd quarter and the winner must claim the prize by the fourth quarter. If the prize is not claimed on game day, the winner may claim their prize by visiting the Bob Carpenter Center ticket office within 5 business days after the drawing. The winning ticket must be presented to receive the prize. (Men’s Conference Games Only)
Advance Tickets
Guests can purchase tickets to upcoming events via www.BlueHens.com/tickets or by calling the Delaware Ticket Office at 302-831-2257. On game day, guests can purchase tickets at the Box Office, ticket prices on game day increase.  Ticket windows remain open throughout the first half.
Aisle Policy
Standing or sitting in aisles or stairs is not permitted. Guests will be asked to return to their seats.
Alcohol Policy
Outside alcohol is not permitted inside the Bob Carpenter Center.
Alcohol Sales
The University of Delaware promotes the responsible sales and consumption of alcoholic beverages, guest are expected to follow all laws governing the purchase, possession, and consumption of alcohol. All guest must show ID, regardless of apparent visual age. Forms of acceptable ID include: Driver’s License, State issued ID, Passport, and Military OD (whichever type shown must be valid). Vertical IDs are accepted so long as the guest is 21+. The bar staff has the right to refuse or limit service to anyone who appears to be intoxicated. Delaware law permits service up to the point of intoxication, but no further.
Animals
Certified service animals or service animals in training are welcome. All other animals are prohibited from the Bob Carpenter Center.
Arena Access
Bob Carpenter Center opens to the general public and student 1 hour prior to the start of both men and women’s basketball games. Doors opening times for all other events taking place at the Bob Carpenter Center are determined on an individual basis.

ATM
There is one (1) ATM located in the Bob Carpenter Center lobby.
Bags/Backpacks Policy
All bags/backpacks smaller than 16" x 16" x 8" are permitted into the arena. Bags and containers are subject to inspection by door security prior to entering the facilities. Hard-sided coolers and bags or backpacks with metal frames are not allowed.
Baby Changing Table Stations
Located in Lobby and Northwest Corner of the arena restrooms. There is a family restroom located in the lobby.
Banners and Signs
Banners and Signs are permitted inside Bob Carpenter Center. UD reserves the right to prohibit or require the cessation of any display of a banner or sign that obstructs the view of other guest, obscures arena signage, can be considered an advertisement or is determined to be obscene, vulgar, indecent, inappropriate or derogatory.
Bicycle Parking
Bicycle stands are available for use by guests and are located outside the Bob Carpenter Center north entrance and in front of the Delaware Field House.
Bob Carpenter Club
Delaware Diamond Society have exclusive access to the Bob Carpenter Club during men’s and women’s basketball games.
Cameras and Camcorders
Still cameras are welcome with no flash. Guests are asked to avoid standing in the aisles while using equipment, obstructing the views of others, or using tripods or monopods. Video and photography of Bob Carpenter Center and performers cannot be used commercially without written permission. We reserve the right to request that guests discontinue taking pictures on facility property.
Cellular Phones
Guests are welcome to use cellular phones provided their use does not disturb other guests. We encourage you to tweet and Instagram @UDBlueHens throughout your gameday experience using #BlueHens
Children
We offer complimentary admission to children two years of age or younger, provided they are accompanied by an adult. These children must sit in the lap of the accompanying adult and not occupy an additional seat. Children must be supervised at all times.
Concessions
A variety of concessions are available for purchase throughout the arena, including the Smoker Station open on the west concourse area of the arena. There are two auxiliary concessions stands located on both the Northwest and Southeast concourse for your convenience.
Containers/Outside Beverages
No outside beverages are permitted. Guests with disabilities may bring factory sealed plastic or paper containers that contain liquids required for medical reasons into the facilities and families with infants may bring in appropriate formula/food. Fans are allowed to bring in one sealed/unopened bottle of water to the Bob Carpenter Center

Emergency Evacuation Procedures
If there is ever a time where patrons must evacuate the BCC, proper evacuation procedure and locations will be communicated over the PA system and video board.Â
Entry
Only guests with valid tickets or credentials are permitted into the venue. The BCC has a no re-admittance policy, which means that once you leave the arena, you will not be permitted to re-enter without having a new ticket.Â
Family Restroom
There is one (1) gender neutral family restroom located on the lobby level of the Bob Carpenter Center.
First Aid
Emergency first-aid (ambulance service) is available at the northeast corner of the arena. Contact the nearest usher or public safety officer to request medical attention.
Food and Beverage
There is no outside food or beverage allowed in the BCC other than 1 unopened/sealed water bottle per fan.
Game Roster Cards
Game day roster cards are free and available for pick-up at both guest service locations while supplies last.

Guest Behavioral Guidelines
We are committed to creating a safe, comfortable and enjoyable arena experience for all guests. Fans exhibiting inappropriate behavior (i.e. using foul or abusive language, making abusive gestures or appearing intoxicated) are subject to ejection from the arena. Repeat offenses will result in the loss of season ticket privileges. If you observe a problem, please contact an usher or public safety officer immediately. To assist with this endeavor, guests are asked to abide by the following Behavioral Guidelines:
- Guests should not take any action that inhibits the progress of any game or event.
- Guests should avoid clothing that could potentially distract other guests or diminish the ability of other guests to enjoy any game or event.
- Guests should avoid the use of foul, racist, sexist, abusive language and refrain from making any obscene gestures.
- Guests should refrain from any display of inappropriate affection in a public setting.
- Guests are required to sit only in their ticketed locations and to present their ticket when requested.
- Only authorized individuals may enter the playing surface and other restricted areas and guests must refrain from entering such areas without proper authorization.
- Guests should follow all local, state, or federal laws and will follow the instructions of event staff.
Fans may visit our Guest Relations kiosks in the arena, one located in the main lobby and the other on the West concourse. Both will open one hour prior to tipoff and remain open through the conclusion of the game. Guests are invited to stop by these areas for general information, solutions and helpful service.
Language

Laser pointers are not permitted.
Lost and Found
Lost and found service is maintained at the Guest Relations kiosk in the main lobby or at the top of Section 1. Articles that are found should be turned over to an usher or brought to these locations.
Lost Children / People
A guest who has become separated from his or her party should proceed to the closest Guest Relations Kiosk.
Merchandise
Official Blue Hens merchandise can be purchased at the book store table located at the top of Section 3.
Noise Making Devices
Musical instruments or any type of noise-making device are prohibited inside the BCC, even if purchased on-site at the University.
On Court-Access
Only authorized and properly credentialed personnel will be permitted on the Bob Carpenter Center floor before, during, or after a game. Any unauthorized person going onto the floor will be removed the arena and subject to arrest.
Paging
The public address system may not be used for paging guests. In the event of a medical emergency or special circumstance, consideration will be given to using a general page.
Parking
Arrive early to ensure equitable time for traffic, parking, and lines at the entrance. All season ticket members receive a Gold Lot general parking permit FREE of charge. Season ticket members also have the opportunity to purchase a Gold Lot Front Row parking permit for $50 to replace the complimentary Gold general parking permit. Additional general season permits are available for $50. Fans may also purchase advanced parking permits in the Gold Lot on an individual game basis for $5 per permit. Fans that do not have a parking permit will be able to park for FREE on an individual game basis in the Blue Champion parking lot in front of the Delaware Field House. Click here for parking map.
Pep Band
The University of Delaware Pep Band performs at University of Delaware Basketball games, creating an exciting atmosphere with their music, cheers, chants and enthusiasm.

Press Row, Media Room, and Scorer’s Table Access
Only credentialed staff, media, and photographers will be allowed on press row and in the media room.
Prohibited Athletic Equipment
For the safety of all patrons, the throwing of basketballs, beach balls, baseballs, Frisbees, or any other objects is prohibited inside athletic venues. Large inflatable objects are also prohibited.

Information on renting Bob Carpenter Center or any Delaware Facility can be directed to https://events.bluehens.com/
Replacement Tickets
Tickets that are lost in the mail must be reported to the Delaware Ticket Office before duplicates can be made. If tickets are stolen, it must be reported to the Delaware Ticket Office in advance of the game and replacement tickets will be issued for pick up at Will Call. If tickets are left home or lost, fans are encouraged to go to the Ticket Office located on the West side of Bob Carpenter Center to request a reprint. Fans must have their account number on hand to ensure an efficient process.
Resale of Tickets
Resale of tickets on arena grounds is strictly prohibited. Fans may resell their tickets via My Blue Hens Account. (LINK: https://am.ticketmaster.com/udelaware/ )
Restrooms
Restrooms are located at the corners of the arena. ADA restrooms are located on the west concourse underneath section F. Gender neutral restrooms are located on the west concourse in the portable restroom.
Smoking / Tobacco-Free Policy
Effective 8/1/14 the University of Delaware has implemented a tobacco-free policy applicable to all members of the University community. This includes all tobacco products such as all types’ e-cigarettes and chewing tobacco. For details, visit www.udel.edu.
Solicitation & Distribution of Literature
Guests are prohibited from distributing banners, booklets, business cards, circulars, commercial advertising, flyers, folders, handbills, leaflets, notices, pamphlets, political posters, stickers or any other written, printed and/or painted material, without written permission from UD Athletics.
Strollers
We welcome guests with strollers, however they are not permitted to be in the stands. Strollers may be checked-in at the Guest Relations kiosk in the lobby.
Student Guest Passes
UD students are able to visit the Delaware Ticket Office at the Bob Carpenter Center (BCC) the week of the game to purchase a student section guest pass for the game. Limit two per student per game. Student guest passes are not available for all games and limited in quantity. Student guest passes are $6.
Team Guests (Delaware)
Delaware team guests will enter the main entrance doors and proceed to the tables on the left indicted by ‘Team Guest Will Call’. A photo I.D. is required to receive a complimentary ticket. Tickets are stubbed and immediate entrance to the arena is required. Doors open one hour prior to tip-off.Â
Team Guests (Visiting Team)
Visiting team guests will enter the main entrance doors and proceed to the tables on the left indicted by ‘Team Guest Will Call’. A photo I.D. is required to receive a complimentary ticket. Tickets are stubbed and immediate entrance to the arena is required. Doors open one hour prior to tip-off.Â
Tickets
A ticket for admission is needed for all persons ages 3 and older. The Delaware Ticket Office is located in the Bob Carpenter Center, 631 S. College Ave. Phone: (302) 831-2257. Email: athletics-tix@udel.edu. Online: www.bluehens.com. Assistance with any ticket issues can be obtained by contacting the Delaware Ticket Office. On game day, the patrons with ticketing issues should go to the Will Call or Ticket Sales windows located on the west side of the Bob Carpenter Center.
UD Students
The Cockpit seating section is free and open to all UD students. It is located in section 1-4. All students must have their UD ID scanned upon entry to the arena. UD students are able to visit the Delaware Ticket Office at the Bob Carpenter Center (BCC) or Trabant the week of the game to purchase a student section. Limit one per student per game. Student guest passes are not available for all games and limited in quantity
Ushers
Arena ushers serve the needs of the fans. Contact the nearest usher to request medical assistance or to register complaints about objectionable behavior.
Water Bottles
Fans are allowed to bring in one (1) sealed/unopened bottle of water per person to the Bob Carpenter Center. All other outside food and beverages are prohibited.
Water Fountain
Water fountains are located throughout the top concourse as well as in the lobby. A refillable water station is located in the lobby.

Will Call
Public Will Call is located at the windows of the arena box office adjacent to the main entrance. To alleviate long lines on the day of the event, we ask that individuals who pre-purchased tickets pick-up any will call tickets prior to the day of the event. Or on the day of the event, we ask that all guests arrive two hours early to pick-up your tickets.
