The UD Coed & All Girl Cheer Team College Gameday Clinic
(COMING SOON)
The University of Delaware Coed & All Girl College Game Day Clinics are intended to teach cheerleaders the proper techniques required to achieve college level game day presentation. During the clinic we will focus on game day skills, motions, sign/flag work, fight song/band dance, and situational sidelines.
Any stunting during this clinic is designed for coed female tops/male bases and all-girl female tops/bases to learn the proper progressions for game day specific skills. No tumbling is required during this clinic but certainly encouraged when appropriate; any tumbling will be on a non-spring floor. At the end of the clinic all participants will have the chance to showcase their skills in front of the parents and attendees.
We will offer skill instruction based on progression and advise all participants to move in progression based on their individual skill level. We will be teaching skills and material geared toward college football and/or basketball game days.
All participants will work with and be under the instruction of the University of Delaware Cheer Team coaching staff and team members.
Space is limited. Register early to guarantee your spot!
The University of Delaware Cheer Team has a recruitment based team selection process. There is no official tryout. Instead, clinics, school visits, and PSA questionnaires/videos will be used to assess Prospective Student-Athletes (PSA). We will offer positions on the team to candidates the coaching staff believe are at the level needed to be a Blue Hen cheerleader. You can receive more information by filling out our PSA Questionnaire at www.BlueHens.com/Cheer
If you have any questions, please email Coach Kirby Lynch at cheer@udel.edu.

The clinic will offer limited coed and all-girl stunt opportunities to train basic college level game day stunts. The coed stunt instruction is recommended for female tops and male bases. Teams are welcomed to attend and receive game day routine/fight song cleaning from our Game Day National Championship Student Athletes. Coaches please reach out to Coach Kirby Lynch cheer@udel.edu to sign up your team for a clean up instead of our individual athlete rotations.
