Meyer will be bringing four years of playing experience, as well as nine years of coaching experience. During Meyer's time at Buffalo State College, he was voted a team captain as a wide receiver in his senior year. Meyer was also a three-time All-Conference selection and an ECAC Southeast First-Team All-Star in 2007. Upon graduation, Meyer held five school wide receiver records and currently still holds three.Â
After graduation, Gregory immediately took on the role of wide receivers coach at Lycoming College in Williamsport, Pa. In 2013, he helped Buffalo reach the Idaho Potato Bowl after an 8-5 season. During that same year, two of Buffalo's wide receivers hauled in more than 50 catches and 600 receiving yards. In addition to coaching at Buffalo, he also attained his masters of education degree in educational studies in 2014. After achieving his masters, Gregory stayed at Buffalo from 2015-2017, but as a Director of Player Development and Offensive Quality Control.Â
