Jalen Kindle will be returning to his alma mater as a defensive assistant who will specialize with the linebackers.Â
Kindle, who was a linebacker himself, played five seasons at the University of Delaware from 2013-2017. After seeing his first career action in his sophomore season, Kindle played in all 11 games in each season. He tallied 98 tackles (48 solo) over the course of his career and added four sacks to go along with his name.Â
The former linebacker received numerous accolades including the Newark Elks Club Scholar-Athlete Award, the PNC Achiever Award (twice), and a CAA Academic All-Conference selection. He was also nominated for the FCS ADA Academic All-Star Team, Colonial Athletic Association Chuck Boone Leadership Award, and the CAA Academic Honor Roll.Â
He will be serving alongside his former coach, Danny Rocco.Â
