Kevin Reihner, a former offensive guard at Stanford University and Penn State University, will become one of Delaware's newest tight ends coaches. Reihner helped the Stanford Cardinals reach three consecutive BCS bowl games in addition to winning the 2013 Rose Bowl in a span of four years. In 2015, he transfered to Penn State where he was a letter winner in his only season, and became the first graduate transfer in Penn State history. While at Penn State, Kevin attended graduate school.
In his first year out of school, Kevin took on the role of Offensive Quality Control at Fordham for the duration of the 2016-2017 season. During his time at Fordham, the offensive unit ranked fourth in the FCS in total offense (498.2 ypg) and fifth in scoring offense (40.1 ppg). Their running back, Chase Edmonds, led the FCS with 1,799 rushing yards. Kevin made an impact throughout the year helping the Rams go 8-3 overall and 5-1 in the Patriot League.
After his time at Fordham, Kevin worked as a graduate assistant and assistant offensive line coach at Wake Forest, while also attending graduate school. Kevin helped strengthen the OL which allowed the Wake Forest offense to average 465.8 ypg (17th in FBS) and 35.3 ppg (21st in FBS). Over the course of the 2017-2018 season, the Wake Forest offense broke over 60 school records.
