Graduate transfer playing his fifth year at Delaware after spending the past four years at Boston College, where he served as the Eagles’ starting quarterback for six games, including last year’s Pinstripe Bowl. In his time with the Eagles, Wade completed nearly 60-percent of his passes (95-of-171) for 1,091 yards and five TDs. He also ran for 74 yards and a TD. He started the final three games of last year for the Eagles. Prior to Boston College, Wade was a star at Middletown, leading his squad to the state championship game during all four of his seasons, including winning the title in 2011 and 2012. He was named the 2013 Gatorade State Player of the Year and the 2012 Offensive Player of the Year by MaxPreps. He was a two-time First Team All-state honoree, racking up 100 career touchdowns, throwing for 7,778 yards and rushing for over 1,000 yards.

He is the son of Jackee and Darryl Wade.
