Played football, basketball, and baseball at William Penn Charter School • played football for head coach Tom Coyle and was a two-year starter at tight end • served as team captain as a senior in 2015 • two-time first team All-Inter Ac selection • caught 24 passes for 400 yards and four touchdowns as a junior and hauled in 24 passes for 383 yards and nine touchdowns as a senior • played two seasons in basketball as a center for head coach James Phillips • played two seasons of baseball as a first baseman for head coach David Miller.

Evan Randolph Ferrell • born March 19, 1998 in Huntington Valley, Pa. • son of Darrin and Iva Ferrell • father is a 1991 graduate of Delaware who played wide receiver for the Blue Hens in 1988-90 for head coach Tubby Raymond • led team to Yankee Conference title and NCAA Tournament berth in 1988 as a sophomore • mother is a 1989 graduate of Delaware • father is professional photographer and mother is a legal methods writing professor • has a younger brother • uncle, Donald Ferrell, played college football at Lehigh • grandfather, Donald Ferrell, played college football and baseball at Iowa and Drake • biology major who would like to pursue his doctorate • enjoys playing video games, reading scientific articles, and photography in his spare time • favorite pro teams are the NBA San Antonio Spurs and NFL New York Giants.
