HIGH SCHOOL
He was a two-time First Team All-State player at both defensive end and tight end (2014, 2015)
Was named the 2014 Delaware Lineman of the Year and the 2015 Delaware Defensive Player of the Year
Racked up 201 tackles, including 77 during his senior season (2015)
In his junior year, he was a team captain for the 12-0 Colonials who capture the state championship

He is the son of Frank and Tasey Burton
Frank is a member of the Delaware State University Athletics Hall of fame, where he played both football and baseball for the Hornets
