Began high school career at Eastern Christian Academy in Maryland before playing final season at Caravel Academy in Bear, Del. • three-year starting linebacker at ECA where he also was a starting catcher for the baseball team • played football for head coach Dwayne Thomas • transfered to Caravel as a senior and served as team co-captain for head coach John Reed • named team's Co-Defensive Player of the Year at ECA in 2015 • as a senior at Caravel, earned All-State honors at linebacker and all-conference honors at linebacker and tight end • was selected as team's Defensive Player of the Year • had 135 tackles, including 25 for loss and five sacks, as a senior • named to DIFCA Academic All-State team • honor roll student at both ECA and Caravel.
