Haley Alioto joined the University of Delaware football staff in August 2022 as Assistant Manager, Football Operations, becoming the first woman to serve as an operations administrator within the program. She's received two promotions during her tenure in Newark, first to Assistant Director, Football Operations/Recruiting in May 2024 and then to her current role of Director, Football & Recruiting Operations in October 2025.
In February 2025, she participated in the ninth-annual NFL Women's Forum as part of the league's ongoing commitment to diversity and inclusion. The invite-only forum educates and connects women candidates currently working in college football roles. Participants interact with owners, general managers, head coaches, and club executives in the NFL and in college football programs.
No stranger to the Blue & Gold, Alioto served as an operations intern with the football program during her final semester. In her role, she assisted General Manager Brett Arnold with all of the day-to-day football operations, including recruiting, official visits, team travel, scheduling and business operations.
Alioto has had two internships with the Pittsburgh Steelers, serving as a communications intern during the summer of 2021 where she worked with the team’s media relations staff during training camp. In 2019, she also worked Steelers’ training camp, assisting in the operations and with the on-field personnel.
Alioto graduated from the University of Delaware in May 2022 with a bachelor's degree in sport management and a minor in event management and then in 2025 with her master's in business administration.
