Haley Alioto joined the University of Delaware football staff in August 2022. Alioto, a 2022 UD graduate, will work with the Blue Hens as a Football Operations Assistant, becoming the first woman to serve as an operations administrator within the program.
No stranger to the Blue & Gold, Alioto served as an operations intern with the football program during her final semester last spring. In her role, she assisted General Manager Brett Arnold with all of the day-to-day football operations, including recruiting, official visits, team travel, scheduling and business operations.
Alioto has had two internships with the Pittsburgh Steelers, serving as a communications intern during the summer of 2021 where she worked with the team’s media relations staff during training camp. In 2019, she also worked Steelers’ training camp, assisting in the operations and with the on-field personnel.
Outside of football, Alioto spent the spring of 2021 with the Philadelphia Union of Major League Soccer as a game day operations & special events intern.
Alioto graduated from the University of Delaware in May 2022 with a degree in sports management and a minor in event management. While at UD, she was a member of the synchronized skating team while also serving as the club’s vice president and competition secretary. Alioto helped lead the Blue Hens to their 21st East Coast Synchronized Skating Championship as well as the 2020 National Pewter Medalists.
