Basadre was hired in December of 2022 and will serve as a Sports Medicine Physician. She has spent the last few years working a multitude of Delaware athletic events as well as Delaware high school sports and other events throughout the state.
Basadre comes to Delaware after three years working in the Greater Lawrence Family Health Center in Lawrence, Mass. There, she worked as a family medicine physician and sports medicine physician.
Before her time in Massachusetts, Basadre worked as a general practitioner at the San Felipe Medical Center in Lima, Peru from 2012-2015.
She received her doctor of medicine from Universidad de San Martin de Porres in Lima, Peru in February 2012.
