Joining the Blue Hens in March 2017 as the information technology manager, Dan Coleman manages the technology in use within the Department of Athletics and Recreation Services. This includes computer and phone support, security evaluation and planning, systems administration, and providing technology expertise for the software and hardware solutions within our sports programs and supporting business groups.
Coleman also serves as an adjunct faculty at the University, a position he's held since 2010.
Prior to arriving in athletics, Coleman served as the computer support specialist II at UD, working as the technical liaison for development and alumni relations. A 2002 graduate of the University of Delaware, Coleman began his career as an information resource consultant II from 2002-11. He earned a master's degree in information systems and technology management in 2010 from UD.
