Daniel Ammon assumes the position of as the IMG General Manager at the University of Delaware starting Jan. 7, 2019.
As part of his role, Ammon is responsible for managing the partnership and overseeing operations between the University and the community.
A native of Floral Park, New York, Ammon joins the Delaware Athletics staff after serving as the Senior Manager of Business Development for the last three years at the Dover International Speedway.
Prior to becoming a Senior Manager for DIS, Daniel served as the Suites and Hospitality Manager with the Philadelphia 76ers from 2013-14.
From 2010-13, Ammon worked with the Washington Redskins as both a Premium Senior Sales Account Executive and Business Development Manager.
A Ravens and Orioles fan, Ammon obtained a master’s degree focused in Professional Studies Sports Industry Management from Georgetown University in 2011. He attended The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina as an undergraduate from 2005 to 2009.
Currently, Ammon resides with his wife, Shannon, and their two children, Sullivan and Morrison.
