Kendall Smythe joined the Delaware Athletics Department in February 2023, working in the sports administration office as a team operations manager.
A University of Delaware graduate, Smythe previously worked in the graduate admissions department.
Prior to returning to Delaware, Smythe attended the University of Denver for graduate school where she received her master’s degree in sport and performance psychology. While completing her graduate program she worked closely with student athletes and teams of all levels doing mental performance consulting. She also served as the associate head coach and goalie coach for Denver’s women’s club ice hockey team.
A native of Bear, Delaware, Smythe received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Delaware. During her time in Newark, she was a goalie for the women’s club ice hockey team and worked at the UDairy Creamery.
