Reid Watkins joined Delaware Athletics as the Assistant Director, Marketing and NIL in June 2026. He oversees marketing for UD ice hockey, women's lacrosse and tennis along with the department's NIL efforts.
Watkins came to UD from Illinois State University, where he served as a graduate assistant for marketing from 2024 to 2026 while interning with the Redbirds' NIL program. Watkins gained experience promoting the Redbirds' runs to the FCS National Championship, the NIT semifinals and WNIT championship in 2026.
A two-time graduate of Illinois State, Watkins earned an MBA in 2026 after completing a bachelor's degree in journalism in 2024.
