Bob Hannah Stadium, formerly called Delaware Diamond, is the home of the Blue Hens Baseball team. The stadium first opened in 1966 and was later renamed in May 2000 in honor of longtime Hall of Fame baseball coach Bob Hannah. One of the most respected and successful coaches in the history of college baseball, Coach Hannah won more games than any coach in Delaware history. He led the Hens to a 36-year mark of 1,053-464-6 between 1965 and 2000, ranking in the top 25 all-time in college history for wins. The stadium features a fully artificial playing surface that was added in 2014 as part of the facility's renovations. The stadium features two heated, full-sized dugouts on both the first and third baselines as well as a home and visiting bullpens with three mounds in each. The facility features a batting cage on the home side as well as Musco lighting. The stadium itself can fit roughly 1500 persons with a press box for media, marketing, and broadcast personnel.
In 2014, the outfield dimensions were also updated to 330' down the right field line, 320' down the left field line, and 400' to center field. Then, in 2024, the field received new "302" branded padding behind home plate and completely new turf across the entirety of the field.
The renovation improvements have helped solidify Bob Hannah Stadium as one of the premiere collegiate baseball facilities in the Mid-Atlantic region.
