Delaware Women's Swimming Tops George Mason, 161-139; Blue Hen Men Edged 163.5-136.5

Also capturing first place finishes for the Blue Hens were sophomore diver Kristina Congdon in both the 1-meter (258.60) and 3-meter (260.80) events; Dominique Montoya in the 100 freestyle (53.11); and the 400 freestyle relay team of Laura Askin, Mary Kay Harris, Maggie Tracy, and Montoya (3:33.18).
The Blue Hen men were led by Liu, who took home three first place finishes. Liu served as the last leg of the 200 medley relay team that earned a top finish (1:35.12). Liu's teammates in the 200 medley relay were Tim Ware, Alex Tooley, and Cole Clark. Liu also finished first in the 50 freestyle (21.95) and 100 freestyle (47.60) events. Tooley also posted three second place finishes in the 100 breaststroke (1:00.67), 200 breaststroke (2:11.46), and 200 individual medley (1:55.94).
Ware earned one more first place finish in the 100 backstroke event with a time of (51.77) while Clark finished first in the 100 butterfly (51.61).
The Blue Hens will take off a weekend before returning to action Nov. 1-2 at the CAA Pod meet at James Madison in Harrisonburg, Va. The women will compete against James Madison, William & Mary, and UNCW while the men will face William & Mary and UNCW.
