2013 Blue Hen Club Football Seating
Certain areas in Delaware Stadium carry an annual per-seat Blue Hen Club contribution over and above the base ticket cost. Pricing levels are determined by seat location. All season ticket holders who participate in the priority seating program automatically become members of the Blue Hen Club. The seat donation counts toward any contribution necessary to qualify for Blue Hen Club preferred parking. Contributions that qualify an individual for the right to purchase priority seating and parking are 80% tax-deductible, according to Internal Revenue Code 170(l). Please consult your tax advisor.

Calculating Your Minimum Donation
Your seat donation will NOT be in addition to existing donations made to qualify for preferred parking, it will be inclusive of those requirements. Use the following formula to calculate your minimum contribution in 2013.
1. Determine your seat donation total by multiplying the number of season tickets x the required seat donation for each section and then add them together.
2. Determine the donation level for your preferred parking area.
Your total 2013 minimum contribution is the greater of these two amounts.
Upgrades And Additional Ticket Requests
Season ticket holders may call the athletic ticket office at 302-831-2257 starting on pre-determined dates to request seat upgrades and additional season tickets. Call dates are prioritized by UDAF giving level and are included in the season ticket renewal package. Upgrade requests will only be accepted by the athletic ticket office during the upgrade calling period.
Certain ticket considerations may vary from year to year based on allotments and availability. All rights to seat assignments rest with the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics.
Blue Hen Club Seat Contributions
Contributions to other areas of the university or club sports do not count toward seating and parking requirements. Additionally, donations made via Donor Advised Funds, e.g. United Way or Fidelity Charitable Gift Fund, may not be eligible for seating/parking benefits based on the outside organization's specific policies. Please confirm the policy with the third party organization that you donate through before submitting the donation. Visit our Donor Advised Funds page for more information.
The deadline for making your seat donation is April 30, 2012. The corresponding athletic donations for priority point purposes must be made by this same date. Donations may be made online, via the phone by calling (302) 831-6276 or by mail to : University of Delaware Athletic Fund, 137 Bob Carpenter Center, Newark, DE 19716.
