Delaware Concludes Fall Practice with Blue Hen World Series

NEWARK, Del. – The University of Delaware baseball team will finish fall practice this weekend with the Blue Hen World Series.
The series will include three intrasqaud games between Team Black and Team Blue. Both teams will be captained and selected by UD seniors. Team Black is captained by Joe Giacchino and Norm Donkin, while Team Blue is captained by Zach Lopes and Adam Davis.
Team Black's probable starting pitchers will be Chad Martin on Friday, Burk FitzPatrick Saturday, and Kevin Milley on Sunday. Team Blue's starters will be Adam Davis Friday, Ron Marinaccio Saturday, and John Geffre Sunday. Both teams will have to use all the pitchers on their roster at some point during the three-game set.
The first game of the Blue Hen World Series will begin Friday at 3:30 p.m. The second game of the series will start Saturday at 11:00 a.m., while Sunday's first pitch will be at 10:00 a.m. All games will take place at Bob Hannah Stadium.
