Delaware Women's Squad Stays Undefeated as Blue Hens Defeat George Mason 151-149

FAIRFAX, Va. – The University of Delaware men's and women's swimming and diving team had mixed results in its respective meets Saturday at George Mason. The women's team stays undefeated as UD defeated the Patriots 151-149, while the men's team fell to GMU 166-129.
The UD women (3-0) tallied first place finishes in eight races Saturday. Brittany Lazear and Alyssa Sanders had a team-high three wins each. Lazear was victorious in the 1000 Free, 500 Free and was a part of the winning 200 Free Relay squad. Sanders finished first in the 100 Back, 200 Back, and, like Lazear, was part of the winning 200 Free Relay team.
The women's team excelled on the diving board Saturday as Caitlin Stockwell, Lize Keefer, and Kristina Congdon finished first, second, and third respectively in the three-meter diving competition. The Blue Hens also swept the top three in the one-meter diving competition.

The men will face William and Mary, while the women will take on the Tribe and James Madison.
