Blue Hens Post Two Wins in Session I of CAA Pod Meet

WILMINGTON, N.C. – The University of Delaware men's and women's swimming and diving team posted two victories Saturday in session I of the CAA Pod Meet at UNCW's Seahawk Natatorium.
The two-day quad meet has the Blue Hens taking on UNCW, James Madison, and William and Mary.
In session I, Justin Mitchell earned the first victory for the Blue Hens Saturday as the freshman touched first in the Mixed 1650 Free event with a time of 16:52.81. The second Delaware win of the day came from Cory Camp in the 1650 Free race with a time of 16:15.86.
In total, UD posted nine top-three finishes in in the 10 events in session I. As of this posting, the times of session II a have not been officially reported. Day two of the CAA Pod Meet will begin at 10 a.m. Sunday at UNCW's Seahawk Natatorium
Session I AGATE:
Men:
1st place: Mitchell – Mixed 1650 Free (16:52.81), Camp – 1650 Free (16:15.86)
2nd place: Ware, Savidge, West, Albert – 400 Medley Relay (3:28.79)
3rd place: Hillsley – 200 IM (1:55.46), Neidlinger, Tooley, Daniel, Eisenhart – 400 Medley Relay (3:34.71)
Women:
3rd place: Sanders, Lazear, Sawyer, Whyte – 200 Free Relay (1:37.32), Nunes – 200 IM (2:10.46), Whyte – 50 Free (24.10), Sanders, Nunes, Askin, Montoya – 400 Medley Relay (3:53.43)
