Season-Best Times Highlight Delaware's Swimming & Diving Performance on Final Day of CAA Pod Meet

The men have now dropped three of their first four meets, while the women boast a 4-2 record this season.
Cory Camp led the Blue Hen men (1-3, 0-2 CAA) with two wins on the day while Everett Albert added a third victory for UD in the 200 freestyle (1:42.29). Camp, the 2014 CAA Rookie Swimmer of the Year, was victorious in the 500 freestyle (4:40.02) and 1,650 freestyle where he posted a time of 16:15.86.
Many Blue Hen swimmers earned their best times of the season during the two-day weekend meet. Freshman Patrick Savidge continued his strong swimming by coming in second in the 400 individual medley with a season-best time of 4:03.33. Alex Tooley turned in his best time in the 400 IM with 4:04.71, which gave him third place in the event.
Tim Ware finished in third place in the 100 backstroke with a time of 50.66, which was his best time of the season in that event. Alex Hillsley gave his best performance to date in the 200 backstroke as the sophomore registered a time of 1:52.61. Nicholas Badsky had a season-best time of 47.10 in the 100 freestyle event.
John HaymanBoth Delaware teams will return to action next Saturday as UD hosts a dual meet with LaSalle and Rider. The meet is scheduled to begin at 12 p.m. at Rawstrom Natatorium.
