University of Delaware Athletics & Recreation Announces Addition of Papili, Ranck, and Rose to Staff

Papili will serve as club sports coordinator, Ranck will serve as assistant director of recreation for marketing, and Rose, who previously served as UD's equipment manager for athletics, will take over the role of facility operations coordinator for the Carpenter Sports Building.
“We are thrilled to welcome both Caitlin and Cortney to the Athletics and Recreation team. Both of these young ladies bring a high level of energy and knowledge that will directly enhance the student experience here in recreation services. Also, bringing someone of Kevin's ability on board is a huge win for us as our facility usage and management needs are at an all time high,” said Okkola.
As club sports coordinator, Papili will oversee a comprehensive club sport program within the Division of Athletics and Recreation Services at the University of Delaware. The position's primary function is to monitor and manage the financial operations of all club sport organizations and provide direct oversight of club related financial activities (financial policy adherence, budget development, and fundraising). Responsibilities will also include competition management to ensure quality controls are being met.
A 2012 honors graduate of James Madison University with a degree in sport and recreation management, Papili joins the UD staff after the last year as a customer service representative at the Hockessin (Del.) Athletic Club. A Dean's List student JMU, she served as a manager for the Dukes vollyeball team for three seasons and has also worked as a physical therpist assistant with ATI Physical Therapy in Wilmington, Del. and served internships with the Wilmington Blue Rocks minor league baseball team (2011) and with the Aberdeen (Md.) Ironbirds minor league baseball team. She is currently pursuing a MBA degree from Wilmington (Del.) University.
As assistant director for recreation for marketing, Ranck is responsible for the development and management of a marketing, sales, and promotional program for University of Delaware Recreation Services (which includes the UD Ice Arenas and Outdoor Pool). Key elements of the position include development of a comprehensive program marketing plan; coordination of print and digital promotional materials and publications; maintenance of Recreation Services social media and websites; coordination of sponsorships; coordination of special event initiatives in collaboration with other university entities.
A 2013 graduate of the University of Delaware with a degree in sport management, Ronck most recently worked as an assistant with the Downingtown (Pa.) Area Recreation Consortium and as an IT recruiter with Workbridge Associates in Philadelphia. She also has worked at UD as an event coordinator for the men's soccer team, as a gameday facility and management assistant at UD athletics home games, and as an office of alumni relations associate. In addition, she also served an internship with Special Olympics of Delaware.

A 2000 graduate of Dickinson (Pa.) University, Rose joins the UD Recreation side after spending six years during two different stints as the UD Athletics equipment manager. He began his career as an assistant equipment manager for the National Football League Philadelphia Eagles in 2000 before serving as equipment manager at Delaware in 2001-04.
