Cory Camp Named Corvias ECAC South Division I Men's Co-Swimmer of the Week

DANBURY, Conn. – University of Delaware sophomore Cory Camp was named the Corvias ECAC Division I South Co-Swimmer of the Week Wednesday.
Camp (Olney, Md./James Hubert Blake) led the Blue Hen men with two victories in Saturday's meet against Drexel. The sophomore, who was also selected the Colonial Athletic Association Swimmer of the Week, notched a win in the 500 freestyle with a time of 4:39.74. Camp also recorded a victory in the 1000 freestyle with a time of 9:31.69, which was the fastest time in CAA this season.
Jamal Willis of Lehigh shared the honor with Camp, while Pittsburgh's Dominic Giordano was selected ECAC Diver of the Week and Jonas Gutzat of UMBC was named ECAC Rookie of the Week.
The Blue Hens will return to action this Saturday as Delaware takes on CAA foe Towson at 1 p.m. at Rawstrom Natatorium.
