Blue Hens Open Spring Slate at VCU Invitational

The Blue Hens kick off play Saturday with a 1 p.m. match against Norfolk State and follow at 6 p.m. versus Richmond. Delaware will then take on the host Rams Sunday at 9 a.m. before wrapping action against conference rival James Madison at noon.
In total, UD currently has 13 opponents scheduled for this spring and will host three matches between DuPont Country Club and the Delaware Field House Outdoor Courts. The 2015 CAA Championship will be held April 16-19 at the College of William & Mary.
Adam LawtonDelaware participated in two tournaments this past September and completed play with records of 14-29 (singles) and 6-15 (doubles).
Freshmen Matt Renzi (Pittsford, N.Y./Pittsford-Mendon) and Colin Wong (Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia/SMK Kota Kemuning) led the way each with records of 3-2.
Wong also paired with sophomore Roy Cheng (Shatin, Hong Kong/Sentinel Secondary School) for a 3-3 mark in doubles action.
