Men's Soccer Takes on Drexel Wednesday at Grant Stadium

NEWARK, Del. – Delaware looks to break away from the bottom of CAA standings Wednesday as the Blue Hens host Drexel at 7 p.m. at Stuart & Suzanne Grant Stadium.
UD is currently tied for sixth in the CAA with the Dragons, William & Mary and Northeastern, who all have three points. The top six of nine total teams in the league will earn a berth into the conference's post-season tournament.

Admission is free and open to the public for all home regular season Delaware men's soccer games held at Stuart & Suzanne Grant Stadium.

· Doug Hess (Elizabethtown '96) is in his sixth season as the head coach at Drexel and has posted a career mark of 40-52-15 with two NCAA appearances, two CAA regular season titles and one CAA tournament championship.
ABOUT DREXEL
The Dragons are 2-10-1 on the year and currently tied for sixth in CAA standings with Delaware, William & Mary and Northeastern with three points. Drexel is coming off of a 3-1 defeat at the hands of UNCW Saturday and have lost four straight. Colin McGlynn guides the team with seven points on three goals while Dakota Peterson has assisted on two goals this season. Tyler Afflerbach has started eight games in goal for the Dragons and averages 1.88 goals per game with a .688 save percentage.
