Congdon Finishes Fourth in Three-Meter Diving to Lead Delaware at First Day of Bucknell Inv.

LEWISBURG, Pa. -- Senior Kristina Congdon was the top finisher for the University of Delaware Friday during the first day of the Bucknell Invitational at Bucknell's Kinney Natatorium.
The Blue Hens competed in diving only at three-day meet with the Blue Hen swimmers competing at Franklin & Marshall this weekend. The Bucknell meet will continue through Saturday and Sunday.
Congdon (Pennsbury/Yardley, Pa.) placed fourth overall in the three-meter diving event with 282.25 total points, finishing behind winner Monica Marcello (309.15 points), runner-up Taryn Urbanus (302.70), and third place finisher Alli Butera (286.80) - all from Connecticut.
Also for the Blue Hen women, senior Caitlin Stockwell (Presentation/San Jose, Calif.) placed eight with a score of 248.25 points and senior Kimberly Caruso (West/Downingtown, Pa.) was 21st overall with 151.20 points.
On the men's side, senior Luke Winkler (St. John's College HS/Bethesda, Md.) was the Blue Hens' top finisher with a 16th place showing with 212.0 points. Senior Colin Hall (West Windsor Plainsboro/Princeton Junction, N.J.) was 19th overall for the Blue Hens with a score of 194.70. Buffalo's Nichola Rodriguez won the event with a score of 333.0.
