Five Delaware Swimmers Competing at USA AT&T Winter National Championships this Week

Camp, a junior from Olney, Md. (James Hubert Blake HS), will compete in the 400 freestyle on Thursday, the 400 individual medley on Friday, and the 1,500 freestyle on Saturday while Tooley, a senior from Fort Collins, Colo. (Fossil Ridge HS), will take part in the 200 individual medley on Thursday, 400 individual medley on Friday, and the 1,500 freestyle on Saturday. Camp is the defending Colonial Athletic Association 500 freestyle champion.
Nunes, a junior from Wilmington, Del. (Charter School of Wilmington), will compete in the 100 breaststroke on Friday; Sanders, a senior from Dover, Del. (Milford HS), will take part in the 100 backstroke on Friday; and Whyte, a senior from Chevy Chase, Md. (St. John's College HS), will be among those competing in the 50 freestyle on Thursday and the 100 freestyle on Saturday. Whyte is the reigning CAA champion in the 50 and 100 freestyle events.
Both Delaware teams are off to impressive starts with the women owning a 7-1 dual meet record and the men posting a 3-3 mark in dual action.
