RICHMOND, Va. – Both University of Delaware swimming and diving teams sit in fourth place after four Blue Hens set new UD records on day three of the Colonial Athletic Association Championship Friday at the Richmond Aquatic Center.
Tim Ware provided the highlight of the evening for the Blue Hens as the senior set the new school and CAA Championship record in the 100 backstroke with a time of 46.90. Ware had previously set the UD record of 48.10 in December at the AT&T Winter National Championships, while the meet record of 47.82 was posted by Will Manion of William & Mary at the CAA Championship in 2013.
In addition to his blistering time in the 100 backstroke, Ware swam the fastest second time in school history in the 100 butterfly when the senior swam the race in 48.85 in the prelims.
Cory Camp and Alex Tooley also posted top finishes as the duo clocked in the two best times in Delaware history in the men's 400 individual medley.
Camp (left) broke the record of 3:55.10 previously held by Tooley by more than four seconds as the sophomore registered a time of 3:50.90 in route to a second place finish. Tooley finished in fourth place with a time of 3:52.26.

Annie Nunes set a new school record in the 100 breaststroke Friday as the sophomore posted at time of 1:02.04, which broke her own UD record of 1:02.77 set in last year's CAA Championship.
Nunes' time was good for a fifth place finish in the event.
