Coach Dave Brock Says: “Samir comes from the competitive Philadelphia Catholic League and is an electrifying runner with breakaway speed. He is one of only two players in league history with consecutive 2,000-yard rushing seasons (Curtis Brinkley at West Catholic in 2002-03 is the other) and he averaged 7.4 yards per carry. He is a versatile back who can catch the ball coming out of the backfield and his skill set should compliment the running backs we have in the program now.”
