UMBC Sweeps Delaware, 7-0

BALTIMORE, Md. – The University of Delaware men's tennis team matched up against UMBC for the second time this season, but the results weren't the same as the Retrievers downed the Blue Hens, 7-0, at Forty West Racquet Club Sunday evening.
Sophomore Tyler Flematti (Kingwood, Texas/Kingwood) and freshman Shane Jeffray (Manasquan, N.J./Wall Township) paired for a No. 1 doubles victory by defeating Alex Drean and Daniel Gray, 7-5.
The results were the lone with of the day for the Blue Hens, who fell to 0-6 on the year, while UMBC improved to 2-2. During the fall season, Delaware picked up four victories over the Retrievers at the Navy Invitational.
