LAST TIME OUT
Delaware moved to 6-0 on the year with a 4-3 victory over Princeton Sunday afternoon at Fred P. Rullo Stadium. The Blue Hens, who were ranked No. 18 in the Penn Monto/NFHCA Division I Coaches Poll, were once again led by Michaela Patzner, who registered four points on one goal and two assists against the No. 20 Tigers. Meghan Winesett put the Hens ahead early, scoring goals in the first and fifth minutes. The Tigers responded with three unanswered goals and led, 3-2, with 24 minutes remaining in the game. Patzner then capitalized off a penalty corner in the 49th minute to tie things at 3-3 before assisting Kayla Devlin on the go-ahead goal in the 59th minute, also off a penalty corner. Delaware was in a nerve-wracking situation as time expired as Princeton logged three straight penalty corner opportunities. Emmeline Oltmans stopped Sophia Tornetta's first shot before Tornetta shot one wide and out of bounds to give the Hens the victory. Oltmans finished the game with four saves in the win.
