Scott Grzenda. “We gave up the one goal, and once they scored that, I thought that we dominated a lot of the play. It was kind of bad to have the lightning delay. It threw us off because we had three or four corners in a row, we were coming at them. But this is just our learning process as we move along, getting some new kids in, getting some kids playing different positions, and hopefully that will get us ready for CAA play. "Georgetown held an 11-6 advantage in shots but Delaware (2-3) had seven corner kicks to the Hoyas' two. Delaware's Carolyn Seltzer had a game-high two shots for the Hens.
Delaware will return to action Sunday when the Blue Hens host Ivy League entry Brown at 1 p.m. at Grant Stadium.
