GAME PREVIEW:
Blue Hens Head South to Virginia; Face Longtime Foe William & Mary in Search of First CAA Victory
WILLIAMSBURG, Va. -- Two teams desperately in search of their first Colonial Athletic Association victory of the season square off this Saturday when the Blue Hens (2-3, 0-2 CAA) head south to historic Williamsburg, Va. to take on the host Tribe (2-4, 0-3 CAA) at newly-renovated Zable Stadium at 3:30 p.m.
Delaware will look to break a three-game losing streak following a tough 28-21 setback at home to Maine Saturday when the Black Bears returned a fumble 62 yards for a touchdown with 56 seconds left to play to pick up the victory. The loss spoiled a tremendous effort from Delaware RB Wes Hills who ran for a career-high 242 yards and two touchdowns.
William & Mary, which received votes in this weeks STATS Media Top 25 poll, is looking to snap a three-game losing streak of its own as the Tribe has fallen in succession to Elon (27-10), New Hampshire (21-12), and most recently to No. 7 James Madison (31-24) over the last three weeks.
