LAST TIME OUT ⚽️
Delaware senior Guillermo Delgado broke the program's all-time goals record Tuesday evening, but No. 1 Maryland put the damper on celebrations as the Terps pulled out the 3-2 double overtime victory at Ludwig Field. Delgado finished the night with two goals to up his career total to 48 and bypass Mike Biggs' program record 47 set from 1968-70. In the 23rd minute, Delgado headed in a cross from Carlos Perales to tie the game at 1-1. More than 50 minutes later, Delgado collected the rebound off of a save and gave the Hens the 2-1 advantage. Maryland's Gordon Wild had other ideas however as the sophomore netted his second goal of the evening in the 76th minute to knot things up at 2-2. With just over four minutes remaining in double overtime, Wild collected the hat trick as the Terps registered their 11th straight win to improve to 14-0-2 on the year. Todd Morton (West Chester, Pa./Henderson) logged four saves for the Hens.
