University of Delaware Announces 2016-17 Indoor Track & Field Schedule

Wendy McFarlane-Smith announced the squad's 2016-17 schedule on Thursday.
The Blue Hens open the season on Jan. 6 at the Wagner Invitational at Ocean Breeze Park Athletic Complex in Staten Island, N.Y., before competing in the Towson Tiger Invitational at the New York City Armory on Jan. 14.
After heading to the Gulden Invitational hosted by Bucknell on Jan. 21, Delaware will take part in the Villanova Open on Jan. 27 at Ocean Breeze Park. The Blue Hens will then compete in the Armory Collegiate Invitational at the NYC Armory on Feb. 3-4, and will also participate in the Villanova Invitational on Feb. 4 at Ocean Breeze Park.
Delaware will compete in the Princeton Invitational on Feb. 19, before concluding the season on Mar. 4-5 at the ECAC Indoor Championships at the Boston University Track & Tennis Center.
The Blue Hens return 48 letterwinners and add 17 newcomers to last year's squad that finished 15th at the ECAC Championships.
