Track & Field Competed at Penn Opener

PHILADELPHIA -Â The University of Delaware track & field team completed its first meet of the season at the Penn Opener on Friday and Saturday.
RESULTS
- In Friday's pentathlon, Sarah Sharp (3001) and Brooke Duke (2949) finished sixth and seventh. Their scores rank seventh and eighth all-time in program history.
- Libby Neiburg was fourth in the high jump at 1.62 meters.
- The top finisher on the Blue Hens in the weight throw was Emarie Jackson at 15.69 meters, finishing sixth.
- Jackson (14.20 meters) and Olamide Ayeni (13.64 meters) were fifth and sixth in the shot put. These marks rank second and seventh all time.
- Madison Gee was fifth in the triple jump (11.64 meters) and sixth in the long jump (5.45 meters). Her mark in the long jump ranksÂ
- Lauren Leath was fifth in the 600 meters at 1:33.31. Her time ranks third all-time. Morgan Mims time of 1:39.56 in the 600 ranks 10th all-time.
- Jayde McDermid (9.05) and Sara Manson (9.11) finished 10th and 11th in the 60 meter hurdles prelims.
- Jianna Molin was 12th in the 60 meter dash prelims at 7.89.
- Mackenzie Owens was the top Blue Hen finisher in the 300 meter dash at 44.34.Â
